Now, for the first time, the public is invited to join on Thursday, October 23, from 2:00–5:00 p.m., when the Community WOW portion of the expo takes center stage. Unlike traditional career fairs, this isn’t just about collecting brochures or exchanging pleasantries. Community members who attend can sit down for real, on-site interviews with employers who are actively hiring for part-time, full-time, and internship positions. It is entirely possible to walk into Community WOW searching for opportunities and to walk out with multiple job interviews that day.
Think about how rare that is in today’s job market. Too often, job seekers are asked to upload resumes into online portals, wait weeks for a response, and navigate a maze of automated processes that can feel impersonal and discouraging. Community WOW puts candidates face-to-face with the people who make hiring decisions and allows them to showcase not just their experience, but their enthusiasm and potential.
